Best thing I’ve read on the net recently!

I was recently told of an African tribe that does the most beautiful thing.

  1. I really like this. It is the kind of the same philosophy I try to use with children or adults when I am able. “Catch them being good.” Reward someone for something they are doing that is a positive attribute, (not by giving them a physical reward, like candy, money, etc.) Words are sweeter than honey. If I see my grandson do something that may build purpose in his life, I am able to say, “That was awesome. That kind of thing could change the world some day.” That is a thought that sticks in someone’s brain–child or adult.

Now, I need to remember for myself right now:)

    Love you,
    Marisa

  4. I wish parents and teachers do the the same thing to their children in India instead of beating or abusing them. This will have a positive effect on the minds of children.

Another thing that comes to my mind is we are rapidly losing rich wisdom like the one you have shown in this post by destroying the tribes and their cultures. There is so much to learn from the true children of Earth.

Thanks for the post. It is beautiful. I shared it 🙂

Thank you :)…. yes, kids, all…. we, gosh what a pathetic tribe we’ve all become, pretending we don’t care. We care more than we show, or perhaps know. Kids say it out loud – often we do not hear. Deafness I imagine is the Century’s biggest malfunction.
